The Event Safety Alliance (ESA) is a 501(C)(6) non-profit organization focused on promoting “Life Safety First” throughout all phases of live event production for concerts, weddings, sporting events, conferences, and more. The Event Safety Trailblazer Award, given out for the first time at the Event Safety Summit in November, honored the Entertainment Services and Technology Association for its leadership and commitment to advancing safety standards for the live entertainment industry.

The award is inscribed as honoring ESTA for “pioneering a culture of safety and promoting excellence through innovation. ESTA’s contributions include the development of the Event Safety Working Group and the ANSI-accredited Technical Standards Program, which have collectively provided essential guidance on topics ranging from rigging safety to weather preparedness. These resources have become integral to the planning and execution of live events worldwide.
Hosted by the Event Safety Alliance, the Event Safety Summit is a premier annual gathering of industry professionals dedicated to fostering a culture of safety in live events. The 10th Event Safety Summit brought together thought leaders, safety advocates, and industry veterans for three days of education, networking, and collaboration. ESTA’s recognition as an Event Safety Trailblazer reaffirms its role as a leader in shaping the future of event safety.
